This video/art installation is proposed for the 2010 Olympics by uber-geniouses at MIT. Called The Cloud, a tower supports a cluster of enormous translucent spheres that each project images and video. It's powered by energy culled from the people who interact with it, so it's Green, too. This is so compelling, it might get me over my aversion to sports. At least, long enough to check this thing out, and then have a snack and a nap on the couch.

A French street theatre group called Royal de Luxe produced this giant marionette show in Berlin. The massive wooden puppets are operated by a system of crains, pulleys and people leaping and hoisting cables.
