Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church asked us to help them reinvent their visual identity and clarify their audiences as their community grows and their membership evolves. We worked with Trinity to develop a strategic and thoughtful brand identity that expresses the open and progressive attitude that is at the core of Trinity's mission.

Welcoming Congregants

We began the rebranding project with an in-depth discovery process. We guided Trinity's key stakeholders through a creative series of exercises that revealed challenges, needs, goals, and audiences for its brand.

With the tone and position defined, we designed several identity concepts that expressed different aspects of Trinity's brand personality. All the designs spoke to Trinity's blend of contemporary ideas and traditional worship.

The final logo is modern and welcoming. The shapes within the logo represent the architecture and open doors of the Cathedral itself. By repeating the arch shapes, we introduced a sense of movement, energy, and community to the logo. Clean and contemporary, the Trinity identity speaks to the church's forward-facing philosophies.

We compiled all of our findings – along with guidelines for the brand visuals – into a comprehensive PDF guidebook along with branded asset files for all modes of production. The result is a vibrant new brand that will carry Trinity forward for decades to come.
