FORM designed and produced an app for the 35th Cleveland International Film Festival. The Cleveland International Film Festival is presented every spring and is Ohio’s premier film event featuring over 280 films originating from close to 60 countries. This year's event runs from March 24 - April 4, 2011 at Tower City Cinemas in downtown Cleveland. The app allows users to easily search films by Title, Category, Program, or Day. Film details, images, trailers, and up-to-the-minute screening information are available in real-time along with theater contact information and maps.

Offering exotic and profound travel experiences, Discover Africa's personalized safaris are among the most unique in the world. They asked FORM to design a web presence and identity collateral that could capture the high-end, personal nature of their services. FORM used an earthy palette, classic typography and dramatically cropped photography to create an immersive website evokative of epic adventure and intimate, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The identity collateral incorporated non-traditional materials such as twine, copper gromets and hand-sewn muslin slips. The print work was honored in the 2009 AIGA Cleveland Design Competition.

The fund's founder asked FORM to help launch the new charity with an identity and overall brand that would express the non-traditional, upbeat attitude of the organization. FORM worked with CBS to create this fun bag-toss game in promotion of their popular summertime reality show, Big Brother. The app allows Big Brother fans to challenge each of the show's "HouseGuests" in a one-on-one match of the classic backyard bag-toss game, CornHole. The fast-paced 5-inning format allows fans to battle multiple HouseGuests and share their triumphs on Facebook. The app hit the Top 20 on iTunes' Top Free Sports chart within 5 days of its release.

Hello, Tomorrow

Paying homage to classic sci-fi films, Hello Tomorrow is an atmospheric web-based game that takes place somewhere near Area 51. As a government operative stranded amid a B-Movie landscape, the player must defeat a fleet of retro-style flying saucers through clouds of unexplained smoke and decidedly low-fi sound effects.

The game tracks players' high scores to encourage web-based competition. True to its 1950's roots, the family-friendly game engine automatically eliminates profane user names from the score board.

FORM's new website design for University Circle makes it fun and easy to find everything in this arts and culture district - from the Cleveland Museum of Art and The Botanical Garden to Severance Hall and The Natural History Museum. Its projects can be seen throughout Cleveland, from the most visible public spaces to the most disadvantaged communities. CPA asked FORM to create a new website that would help convey its mission and raise awareness of the projects it facilitates. FORM's solution was to employ bold visual design and engaging photography to help draw users into CPA's portfolio of projects, and a custom content management system enables CPA's staff to easily maintain the site - from portfolio and interative map, to news updates and sponsor logos. FORM worked with agency Marcus Thomas to create this fun, interactive trade show application for the Kelly Tires' new Fierce product line. The application allowed tire dealers to "trade places" with the brand's young target audience by snapping a photo of themselves, and then superimposing it onto interchangeable bodies with trendy hairstyles, clothing and drag-n-drop accessories. The end result was a silly, self-deprecating photo souvenir.
