Brushings

Production, Programming, Visual Design

Fine furnishings broker Brushings asked FORM to create a web presence to showcase the work of famed Australian artisan Kevin Perkins. Though each of Perkin’s pieces are functional furniture, the market for his work is the rare art collector. The intention of the site is to demonstrate the detail and craftsmanship of Perkin’s work, and pique the interest of potential buyers. FORM used a combination of warm and cool middle grays to help the wood tones pop, and a unique visual interface that allows users to browse the collection as well as view the exquisite details of each piece.

The site design received honors in the AIGA Design Competition.
