FORM recently launched a sophisticated website for Kick It, a national grassroots organiation that helps people organize charity kickball games to raise donations for pediatric cancer research. The robust custom content management system enables Kick It volunteers to manage sponsors, track donations and ecommerce sales, upload press releases and news items, upload online resources and update calls-to-action.

FORM's community-driven, GPS-based iPhone app, "Abandoned", enables users to explore modern day ruins from empty mental asylums and submerged cities to forgotten hotels and ghost towns. FORM designed and produced an app for the 35th Cleveland International Film Festival. The Cleveland International Film Festival is presented every spring and is Ohio’s premier film event featuring over 280 films originating from close to 60 countries. This year's event runs from March 24 - April 4, 2011 at Tower City Cinemas in downtown Cleveland. The app allows users to easily search films by Title, Category, Program, or Day. Film details, images, trailers, and up-to-the-minute screening information are available in real-time along with theater contact information and maps.

FORM designed a new online presence for the prestigious Cleveland International Film Festival. The clean visuals were designed to allow easy updating as the Festival campaign and color palette change from year to year. The functionality of the site allows users to purchase tickets online, and search or browse current festival schedules and over 30 years of festival archives. FORM also created a CMS allowing the CIFF to update their own website content including the festival schedule, sponsors, calls-to-action and blog.

FORM worked with a group of dedicated dog rescuers to design and develop Doggy Heaven, a website where pet owners can create free memorials with photos and stories in tribute to their departed canine companions. Visitors can leave messages, virtual treats and cute "tokens of affection" for the dogs, and users can create muliple entries and modify their memorials through a simple account login.

FORM created a new website that would convey the peaceful and nurturing environment at Hopewell, a therapeutic farm community for people with schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. FORM orchestrated a photo shoot to capture the feeling of the community, and designed a warm tone that expresses a sense of welcoming and calm. The design is powered by one of FORM's custom content management systems which enables Hopewell staff to easily update the site content, and an e-commerce system enables visitors to donate or purchase event tickets online.

American Greetings Interactive division asked FORM to design a web presence that would appeal to its technology savvy partners and vendors while still conveying the warm, personal and genuine tone of the AG's “social expressions” mission. FORM’s design, though primarily white, modern and clean, retains a friendly and light-hearted feeling by prominently featuring tightly-cropped photography of actual AG Interactive staff “expressing themselves” in sync with web emoticons.

FORM's MOCA website design allows the museum’s exhibition works to rise to the forefront; all primary navigation collapses to an omnipresent “Menu” button, but intuitively expands so that users can quickly navigate to any area of the site with a single click. In the film, a madman with a pick axe is on the loose and an ultra-3D gorefest ensues. This mini-site puts you in the blood-soaked shoes of the madman: snap a photo of a friend, then swing a pick axe to incur some serious virtual damage. Think this is gross? Check out the movie!

Cleveland's Urban Community School asked FORM to create a viral marketing tool to raise awareness of the school's mission and capital campaign. The result is webgame Yoocee. The game incorporates in its gameplay information about the school's needs and fundraising goals. FORM employed a blend of programming, design and illustration to create the game's exceptionally warm and fun atmosphere.

The Human Fund supports arts programs for under-served youth in Cleveland. The fund's founder asked FORM to help launch the new charity with an identity and overall brand that would express the non-traditional, upbeat attitude of the organization. Since then, FORM designed the collateral and website, as well as ads and invitations for their annual fundraisers for four years running.

Be Fierce

FORM worked with agency Marcus Thomas to create this fun, interactive trade show application for the Kelly Tires' new Fierce product line. The application allowed tire dealers to "trade places" with the brand's young target audience by snapping a photo of themselves, and then superimposing it onto interchangeable bodies with trendy hairstyles, clothing and drag-n-drop accessories. The end result was a silly, self-deprecating photo souvenir.

FORM worked with CBS to create this fun bag-toss game in promotion of their popular summertime reality show, Big Brother. The fast-paced 5-inning format allows fans to battle multiple HouseGuests and share their triumphs on Facebook. The app hit the Top 20 on iTunes' Top Free Sports chart within 5 days of its release.

Hello, Tomorrow

Paying homage to classic sci-fi films, Hello Tomorrow is an atmospheric web-based game that takes place somewhere near Area 51. As a government operative stranded amid a B-Movie landscape, the player must defeat a fleet of retro-style flying saucers through clouds of unexplained smoke and decidedly low-fi sound effects.

The game tracks players' high scores to encourage web-based competition. True to its 1950's roots, the family-friendly game engine automatically eliminates profane user names from the score board.

Cleveland Public Art has improved public spaces through art and design since 1984. Its projects can be seen throughout Cleveland, from the most visible public spaces to the most disadvantaged communities. CPA asked FORM to create a new website that would help convey its mission and raise awareness of the projects it facilitates. FORM's solution was to employ bold visual design and engaging photography to help draw users into CPA's portfolio of projects, and a custom content management system enables CPA's staff to easily maintain the site - from portfolio and interative map, to news updates and sponsor logos. An online donation system enables CPA to accept online credit card contributions.

Offering exotic and profound travel experiences, Discover Africa's personalized safaris are among the most unique in the world. They asked FORM to design a web presence and identity collateral that could capture the high-end, personal nature of their services. FORM used an earthy palette, classic typography and dramatically cropped photography to create an immersive website evokative of epic adventure and intimate, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The identity collateral incorporated non-traditional materials such as twine, copper gromets and hand-sewn muslin slips. The print work was honored in the 2009 AIGA Cleveland Design Competition.

FORM's new website design for University Circle makes it fun and easy to find everything in this arts and culture district - from the Cleveland Museum of Art and The Botanical Garden to Severance Hall and The Natural History Museum. To encourage tourism, FORM redesigned the site architecture to emphasize the near proximity of points of interest, and encourage cross-polination of related events and locations. The "Visit Wizard" creates an automatic itinerary based on the user's interests.
