NPR's Studio 360 invited New York design studio Hyperakt to create a "new visual vocabulary that reflects the multi-dimensional role of teachers." The re-branding project yielded a repository of vibrant and dynamic images, posters and logos. It was so well received that Hyperakt has released the work under a non-commercial Creative Commons license so educators can print and display the images. See the results as well as the process behind the project here.
This eerie, underwater sculpture installation called, "Permanent Evolution" engages people - and attracts coral, fish, lobsters and algae. The artist's intent is that the installation will, over time, evolve into an artificial reef that will help bolster dwindling natural coral reefs. I love the idea that, the more nature settles in here, the less the human forms can be seen.
1) Every meeting must have one clear decision maker. If there's no decision maker - or no decision to be made - the meeting shouldn't happen.
2) No more than 10 people should attend.
3) Every person should give input, otherwise they shouldn't be there.
4) No decision should ever wait for a meeting. If a meeting absolutely has to happen before a decision should be made, then the meeting should be scheduled immediately.
This library of free images from French Paper is great fun to browse - from retro zombie illustrations to weird ad art. They're free to download, so long as you use them on French Paper stock... Heck, that's worth a ream or two!
If FORM were a person, this would be a little peek into its brain. Cool things. Random thoughts.
Even the silly and stupid stuff. Only without all the icky gooey bits.
